Girl with a Pearl Earring

This is a digital painting of my rendition of Johannes Vermeer's Girl with a Pearl Earring.

I'm practicing my digital painting skills, and I have set a challenge for myself, that within a month (end of October) to have at least 4 completed digital paintings of known paintings before the modern period. This is for my own satisfaction and learning process.

I paint what I see, only taking sample colors from the original paintings, so there might be some differences here and there.
